Workshop: Mindfulness Meditation
When: first Tuesday of the month from 6 pm to 7:30 pm

Start the New Year enjoying a practice that has proven to be very effective in helping individuals achieve an overall sense of wellness and health at all levels. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, difficult emotions, or pain; seeking ways to improve your self-esteem and self-confidence; or feel more connected to your inner wisdom, mindfulness meditation is for you!
We will be sitting in chairs in a relaxing environment with dim lights. In the first part of the group, there will be some teaching and discussion about a self-care topic. We then will meditate for around 20-30 minutes, and in the end there will be an opportunity to share experiences. People participate at their own pace and level of comfort.
You do not need any previous experience or special skill to participate, just an open heart and willingness to learn. Feel free to bring friends and family.
