Class Descriptions
Animal Flow
Animal Flow is a trademarked bodyweight program that’s centered largely on ground-based work. It features animal-style movements that encourage core stability and strength, joint strength, and body awareness — all without any fitness equipment.
Chakra Balancing Yoga
Learn about your chakras and how each one can be balanced through various poses. Each chakra in your body needs to be in balance for us to be healthy and well. We will take you through a series of poses that will help to open and align these energy portals in your body. You will leave feeling balanced, aligned and re-energized.
Classical Yoga
This class is based on the teachings of Patanjali, who put yoga together as a system, to create health and well-being in every individual. The class is focused on concentration and awareness through the poses to achieve a healthy mind and body.
Foam Roll & Stretch
Create increased mobility, flexibility and decrease pain through the use of foam rolling and various stretch techniques.
Form & Function
The manner in which we move creates either a balance or imbalance in the body. We will show you how to move more effectively by using slow movement training (time under tension) with functional movements so that you are moving safely and preventing any future injuries.
Fusion Yoga
A blend of Yoga and Pilates focusing on core. A gentle flow combining both disciplines to create length and strength in the body.
Gentle Yoga
Learn how to move freely within your boundaries and experience the true benefits of yoga practice.
Hatha Yoga
In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement.
Pilates for Rehab
Gain strength and improved function through Pilates based exercises focusing on the core and strengthening from the inside out. Concentration on deep supportive muscles will become the focus as we move into more functional exercises.
Tai Chi for Adults
The main premise is to allow the smooth flow of energy (Qi) throughout the body. You will feel a release of stagnant energy. Your body will benefit from increased energy and more flow.
Tai Chi/Qi Gong
The study of working on intrinsic energy, and the energy of the universe. With the practice of Qi Gong, one is able to balance and strengthen qi circulation, slow down degeneration of the body, gaining not only health but a longer, happier life.
